Privacy Policy — Zani

This policy describes what Zani collects, why, and what you can do about it. Zani is operated by Deep Answer Labs (Prishtina, Kosovo), the data controller for the purposes of this policy.

What we collect

• Email address (via Google Sign-In)
• The label you give your sticker
• Messages and photos sent through a scan

We do not collect anything beyond the list above. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

Why we collect it

Solely to operate the product for you: to sign you in, and to keep your account and its contents available across your devices, and to provide the features described on the Zani page. Where we rely on a legal basis under the GDPR, it is performance of a contract with you — or your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by deleting your account.

Analytics and advertising

Zani contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We do not serve ads and do not build advertising profiles.

Third parties we use

These providers process data on our behalf, strictly to run the service:

• Google Sign-In
• MongoDB Atlas
• Amazon S3

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, associated personal data is deleted from our production systems within 30 days, and from encrypted backups within a further 90 days as those backups age out.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — in the product where that option is available, or by writing to privacy@deepanswerlabs.com . See the deletion page for the full procedure.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to processing. Write to privacy@deepanswerlabs.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or EEA and believe we have handled your data improperly, you have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

Children

Zani is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with access restricted to the operator of the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will notify affected users without undue delay.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes and — where the product has accounts — we notify users in-product or by email.
